Product FAQs

1. How often do I need to change the filters?

The SUPERPURE 20L Water Dispenser uses a combination of filters that need to be replaced at different intervals:

  • Ceramic Filter: This filter is reusable and lasts up to 2 years or after 300 cleaning cycles.
  • Multi-Media Cartridge: This cartridge should be replaced every year or after 5000 liters of filtered water, whichever comes first.
  • Mineral Stone: This stone should be replaced annually to ensure optimal mineral levels in your filtered water.

2. What contaminants does the 7-stage filtration system remove?

The 7-stage filtration system in the SUPERPURE 20L Water Dispenser removes a wide range of contaminants, including:

  • Fine sediment, rust, dust, and microplastics
  • Bacteria and chlorine
  • Heavy metals like lead and ammonia
  • Unpleasant tastes and odours

3. Does the dispenser require any plumbing installation?

No, the SUPERPURE 20L Water Dispenser is a countertop unit and does not require plumbing connections. It’s a standalone system that filters water and dispenses it from a tap.

4. Why is water leaking from the filter unit?

There are three possible reasons why water might leak from the filter unit of your SUPERPURE 20L Water Dispenser:

  • Overfilling: Ensure the top tank is not filled while the bottom tank is more than one-third full. When the bottom tank is too full, it can cause the filter unit to overflow.
  • Misaligned Ceramic Filter: Check if the ceramic filter is properly centered and seated in the unit. An improper fit can cause leaks around the filter.
  • Cracked or Damaged Ceramic Filter: If the ceramic filter is cracked or damaged, it will need to be replaced to prevent leaks.

Tip: If you are still experiencing leaks after checking these points, consult the user manual or contact customer service for further assistance.

5. Why is the water running through very slowly?

There are two main reasons why the water might be running slowly through your SUPERPURE 20L Water Dispenser:

  • Unprimed Filters: Ensure you soaked the ceramic filter and multi-media cartridge for 30 minutes before use as per the instructions. This allows the filters to absorb water and function properly.
  • Gravity-Fed System: The SUPERPURE 20L Water Dispenser is a gravity-fed system. This means it relies on gravity to pull water through the filters. It’s normal for it to take a few hours to completely filter a full tank of water.
