Preparation:

  • Wash hands thoroughly before handling parts.
  • Ensure you have basic plumbing knowledge or consult a professional.
  • Check filters one-by-one to ensure they are properly installed, o-rings are correctly seated, and housings are tightened.

Steps:

  1. Remove the system from the box and check that all parts are included and undamaged.
  2. Connect the system using the 1” BSP ports. Follow the flow direction indicated on the system.
  3. Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.
  4. Press the red pressure bleed buttons until air is purged from the system.
  5. Flush water through the system for 5 minutes before first use to remove any manufacturing residue or carbon dust.
  6. The system is now ready to use.

Important Installation Tips:

  • Ensure source water pressure is between 1-5 bar. If it exceeds this, install the included pressure reduction valve.
  • Ensure source water temperature is between 5°C – 40°C. Do not install on a hot water source.
  • Protect the filter housing from freezing as this can cause cracking.

1. How often do I need to change the filters?

  • Sediment and carbon block filters should be replaced every 3-6 months, depending on the quality of your water.

2. Does the system remove bacteria?

  • No, this system does not remove bacteria or microorganisms. Consider a more advanced filtration system for such needs.

3. Can the system be used with well water?

  • This system is designed for municipal water. For well water, pre-filter it to remove large particles and contaminants.

4. What is the maximum operating pressure for the filter housings?

  • The filter housings have a maximum operating pressure of 90 psi. If your water pressure exceeds 80 psi, install a pressure regulator set at 70 psi or less.
