Worth knowing before you buy
These systems filter the water at one tap — usually the kitchen sink — not your whole home.
Only the 5-Stage Ultra-Filter is designed to remove bacteria and parasites; the 2-stage and 3-stage units focus on sediment, chlorine, taste and odour.
The Direct Fit model operates safely up to 6 bar, but if your home's water pressure is above 5 bar you should fit a pressure regulator first.
Keeping it running
Plan on replacing cartridges every 3 to 6 months depending on your water quality, and because these systems use standard 10-inch filters, replacements are easy to find and fit.
